4. Remove the Flex Connecting The LCD Panel To the Logic Board.

The LCD panel is connected to the Logic board through flex connecting cables, you’re going to have to remove the display power cable and the display data cable from the iMac logic board. 5. Remove Your Hard Drive From the iMac

Take a T10 screwdriver and remove the two T10 Screws from the Hard drive storage assembly and unplug the SATA cable connecting the Hard drive to the logic board. After doing this you are now ready to install your new SATA SSD on your iMac.
